Raspberry & Chia Seed Kefir

Breakfast isn’t always something I have time for. Most of us are in a hurry to get out of the door in the morning, BUT it is important that we try to slow down and enjoy breakfast. This pretty bowl of happiness can be made in advance so you won’t have to do much during those hectic morning hours.

You might be wondering what exactly kefir is. Kefir resembles a drinkable yogurt but it is a fermented milk that has a ton of probiotics and good for you bacteria. Kefir is very beneficial for gut health so if you have an unhappy digestive tract, I recommend adding kefir to your diet. Also, don’t worry about any additional tummy issues due to being lactose intolerant as kefir is very low in lactose.

Get this: 6oz of kefir has protein, calcium, phosphorous, Vitamin B12, Riboflavin (B2), Magnesium and Vitamin D. BOOM.

This raspberry & chia seed kefir breakfast is as good as it is beautiful!

For this recipe you will need:

1 cup kefir, any flavor you prefer

1 Tbsp black chia seeds

Fresh Raspberries (or any berries you prefer)

Sprinkle of walnuts

Sprinkle of pumpkin seeds

Sprinkle of dried cranberries

Sprinkle of sliced almonds

Combine. Consume. Enjoy.
