This day moving forward will always be a day of re This day moving forward will always be a day of reflection for me. One year ago today, coronavirus rudely entered and changed my entire life. Going to work for 4 hours on Friday, March 13th and learning that majority of us were being furloughed (and eventually, laid off) really hit home. Since that day, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect, re-plan and re-strategize my life. Things I thought were important then aren’t nearly as important now. As one of my very good friends put it, it feels like we’ve been living a “temporary life.” Like eventually someone will come in and say “ok good job you made it through; now go back to where you were pre-pandemic.” Like many others, I miss traveling, I miss group settings, I miss my family, I miss so many things and I hope that we all get those things back a little at a time. Because of coronavirus, I can say that my life has definitely changed a fair amount since this time last year. A lot has taken place for me & my little family just in the last two months and I look forward to all of the big plans coming up. ✨ It’ll be interesting to continuously look back at this time each year and remember where I was and what I was doing when covid personally affected me. What gives me comfort during these times is going outside and listening to the birds chirp, smelling the fresh air and seeing the flowers. It’s nature’s way of saying “it’ll all be ok.” 🌷🌹🌺🌸🌼
