Chocolate is probably one of my top 3 favorite things to eat. It could even take the number 1 spot. There is just something about it that makes me feel so content, relaxed, and happy, and plus, I don’t have to feel guilty when I’m eating it because it is scientifically proven that chocolate reduces levels of stress hormones. Hallelujah!

I follow this website called Happify Daily and they have the best tips and articles on ways to be a happier, more confident, jovial individual. Their articles really inspire me to want to become a better version of myself in every aspect. While I was navigating through their website last night, I came across the best news, ever: Β Chocolate is good for you. Mainly dark chocolate, but chocolate in general can help you feel less stressed and uptight.

I’m not telling you to go make a batch of chocolate cupcakes and inhale them down (even though that does sound kinda fun), but next time you are feeling a bit tense, eat a few nibbles of chocolate and really savor the moment. You will notice how what seems like a big problem, is actually a small problem- all thanks to chocolate. Also, there is such a thing called chocolate wine. I bought some for National Chocolate Day last week and it really tastes like red wine with a hint of decadent chocolate. I would have a glass as a dessert wine because it is a bit on the sweeter side.

In honor of chocolate and all of the pleasure it brings us, here is a delicious, chocolate recipe which requires no bake. My raw cinnamon, chocolate brownies are sweetened by natural ingredients so you won’t feel unhealthy and guilty after consuming two or three. πŸ˜‰ Enjoy!
